All ages and skill levels are welcome in my studio! I have more than ten years of experience coaching students from the ages of 5 through 65, from beginning to advanced levels of study. This course of study will prepare violinists for virtually any style of performance, but my lesson plans are based on the Suzuki curricula and classical traditions. I hold a master’s degree in violin performance and have had an extensive professional career as a performer. I’m also proud to say I was blessed to have been homeschooled, K-12 as well.

Piano & Math
Haley Beck
haleybecktx@gmail.com

I offer piano lessons to beginner pianists. I have taken lessons for 8 years and played many times at my church. I have played many things from duets to classical pieces to hymns to church accompaniment to contemporary songs. Piano is such a lovely skill for any child to learn and I believe that it greatly benefits the mind.

For anyone interested in piano lessons, I offer 15 minute or 30 minute lessons for $1.15/minute.

Additionally, I am a 20 year old college student who was homeschooled my entire life. After being homeschooled along with my 8 siblings and attending various co-ops, I really appreciate the benefits of homeschooling. I was blessed to have an excellent math teacher in high school that instilled in me a love of mathematics. I see many children struggling through their math courses and acquiring a strong dislike for this subject. It is my desire to aid children in liking math and succeeding in those classes. I have tutored many children (4th-11th grade) our the last 2 years.

If anyone would like tutoring services I offer 1 hr sessions for $45/hr.

Blessings,
Haley Beck

Music – St John Music Lessons
Hi, I am Bobby St John, founder of St John Music Lessons. I live here in San Antonio with my beautiful wife Lindsay, our two wonderful children, Ethan and McKinsey, and soon to be born, Hatcher St John.

St John Music Lessons is located on the north east side of San Antonio at 2540 Thousand Oaks Drive 78232. This is a commercial location, not residential. The lessons take place in our temperature controlled, sound-proof booths. We carefully select our instructors. They are either pursuing a degree in music, or already have their degree in music. They are skillful instructors as well as musically inclined. We use a structured curriculum yet allow for alternative methods to be used when necessary in order to capitalize on each individual student’s motivation. We have always worked well with students with learning difficulties and overall handicaps.

Homeschooling for music is no easy task. You need someone you can trust to inspire and shape your son or daughter musically. What is affordable, yet proven and effective? St John Music Lessons combines affordability with structure and customization.
