Speaker Biographies
Lynette Criddle started homeschooling in 1989. She has graduated eight students & continues homeschooling her two youngest. Today, four of her children are married, four are in college, and she has a freshman and a junior in high school. When she’s not homeschooling, running around to sports activities, or working on one of her business ventures, you might find her out on the Texas State Campus praying with students. Although she and her husband Alan have been teaching on families, marriage & parenting for over 30 years, their real passion is pouring into the next generation. As to the future, she has a couple of books in the works and is looking forward to spending more time with with the campus ministry she’s part of.
Woody Robertson is a first generation home school graduate, Woody is passionate about reaching the next generation of culture shapers. If you hang around Woody, you’re sure to hear words like, “live life to the fullest,” “purposeful living,” or “world-changer” and he’s helped young adults successfully navigate life-decisions for years. An entrepreneur and visionary, Woody has been a principle player in several start-up companies. In 2004, he co-founded CollegePlus (now Lumerit Unbound) and earned his accredited BSBA in General Management in 18 months for under $10k! A frequent motivational speaker at conferences nationwide, Woody’s information-packed sessions are innovative and inspiring. Characterized by a high level of energy and enthusiasm, Woody blends each session with motivating and practical information which attendees can put immediately into practice.
Gina Robertson is a normal gal with an intense desire to support and encourage those in the trenches of everyday life. Home educated from the ground up and first born “guinea pig” of seven, she kept her parents on their toes (and knees) with her passionate 110% approach to life! Fun, spunky, enlightening, and exhortational, Gina loves “let’s get real” heart-chats with young women and believes that life is too short to act like we’ve got it all together. She is actively involved in Life Purpose Planning, an organization which supports Christian students as they discover their God-given purpose. Previously, she directed a discipleship-training program for young women, has spoken internationally and facilitated conference and event coordination. Now her story continues in San Antonio with her “Gate Man,” Woody (see Prov. 31:23) and daughter Callie!
