Leaders Luncheon

Leaders Luncheon Followup and Survey

Homeschool Leaders are vital to the homeschool community. This is why FEAST wanted to encourage Leaders on September 7 at our first Leaders’ Luncheon. The Denman Estate was an intimate setting for 20 Leaders to enjoy lunch, laugh, hear how FEAST came about from FEAST Board Member, Ruth Perez, and get a tour of the estate as well as the newly renovated Resource Center. Christy Cloud was our guest speaker that shared on the many hats that leaders are required to wear and had us laughing while learning how to be a better leader.

Jeanette Watje, FEAST Community Outreach Coordinator, gave an explanation of the practical and fun items in the Leader Loot bag that each Leader was blessed with. We hope more leaders will join us at the next Homeschool Leaders’ event. Stay tuned, so you don’t miss out!

Leading a group is tough work! FEAST is here to help!   If you have any questions, Jeanette Watje is happy to help you.  E-mail her at Community@homeschoolfeast.com

Please fill out this survey and let us know how we can better serve you.

Do you lead a support group? Serve on a board? Are you a coop director? Facilitate or lead in any way in San Antonio area and south Texas?

We acknowledge that as a leader you: Sacrifice time with your spouse and children. Are overwhelmed and stressed.

  • Get tired of answering the same questions. Discouraged by complaints?
  • Feel stuck because no one else wants to step up?

The homeschool community needs you! FEAST understands what an important part you play that makes our homeschooling community the best in the state! Please allow us to show our appreciation for all you do. Invest in yourself and you will realize how you NEED this and it is a priority! Your family and those you serve will be glad you came!

Benefits of this time with other leaders:

Laugh! Remember who you are other than a homeschooling parent.

Learn! There are others that have gone before you. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Ask questions and network.

Hear Truth! You are not alone and the challenges you face are not exclusive. Share! Your experiences can help others. Be transparent and help each other.

Be assured this will have every element that a homeschool parent needs to feel appreciated and supported. Invite other homeschool leaders and get ready for an amazing day you will not want to miss!
