Laura Pradia began her music studies on the piano when she was six years old. She started violin at age ten, and by the time she turned fifteen, she had added flute and harp. Laura has recently opened her music studio ‘A Mountain Laurel Melody’ and has begun teaching music lessons to give something back for all of the great musical instruction she has received over the years.
Laura loves to improvise, and she is passionate about the variety of musical flavors that can be achieved in a single song. St John Music Lessons is located on the north east side of San Antonio at 2540 Thousand Oaks Drive 78232. This is a commercial location, not residential. The lessons take place in our temperature controlled, sound-proof booths. We carefully select our instructors. They are either pursuing a degree in music, or already have their degree in music. They are skillful instructors as well as musically inclined. We use a structured curriculum yet allow for alternative methods to be used when necessary in order to capitalize on each individual student’s motivation. We have always worked well with students with learning difficulties and overall handicaps.
