Tutors: Social Studies, Science, Art, Special Education

I am a retired Texas school teacher.  My favorite subjects to teach are social studies, science, technology, ESL strategies, photography, and Bible education classes.  I have taught other subjects, but prefer these.  My goal is to make my classes practical for my students. I also can help with homeschool planning for parents to know what to teach their children.  My education experience is working on a doctorate program in educational technology from Pepperdine (ABD). I have a master’s degree from Boston University in Counseling Education.  My bachelor’s degree is from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in Occupational Education.  My associate’s degree is in Telecommunications Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.  My work experience was working for a number of years with special education students grades 1-8 in all subjects, teaching teachers technology, teaching teachers ESL strategies, and teaching high school students history, science, and English.  I have certifications in special education and counseling.  My previous certifications while teaching were K-12 general education, ESL, and History 8-12. I have taught classes online for a number of years for Capella University and the University of Maryland at Baltimore.  I would love to discuss how I can help you homeschool your children so please contact me through e-mail.
