May 2022

I always considered a homeschool convention a gift! I love the anticipation leading up to the event. I would review all the speakers, topics and vendors,
then I would chart a course and begin to unwrap my present, to me! I was always amazed that God provided just what I needed for that season in our homeschool journey. This is probably the single most expansive advice I can give to a homeschool family, regardless if you attend as a parent or an entire family. On that note, please look at the conventions below and attend as you are able:

Locally, get what you need here and now. Hill Country Christian Homeschoolers (HCCH) is hosting a Mini-Convention with a book sale and workshops. The convention is being held at the Bulverde Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 24th from 10am-2pm. See complete information in the FEAST Homeschool Hub in this issue of MANNA.

Want more? There are two Called to Teach Conventions hosted by the Texas  HomeSchool Coalition, (THSC). You can see 150+ exhibitors, 25+ speakers, 10,000 attendees, and more with your choice of dates and venues:

  • Allen Convention — April 21-23, 202
  • The Woodlands Convention — June 2-4, 2022

Here is a sneak preview of speaker, writer and homeschool mom, Heather Haupt. Maybe she has just what YOU need! If you are unable to attend a convention, but have a hurdle that you need to overcome, feel free to call us at the Resource Center, that is why we are here! 210-342-4674, ext. 101.
