We thank the Lord for every one of our teachers. Without their talents and skills, our co-op would not have flourished as much as it has. They are all approved by the FEAST Co-op office with a minimum of two references. Their teaching materials have also been approved and all classes are taught from a Biblical, Christian worldview. Our teachers are self-employed, independent contractors. To apply to be a new co-op teacher, please fill out our New Teacher Application and review our Teacher Commitment. Returning teachers, please fill out our Returning Teacher Application.
The Co-op office will no longer receive monthly tuitions. Teachers will be accepting their own payments. Payments are still due the first Tuesday and Thursday of each month.
She enjoyed 7 years with Pape-Dawson and considered her co-workers a second family, but in 2011 she resigned from her job to give her best job ever and her first family her full-time attention. Mrs. Force became a full-time stay at home mother in March of 2011 and in September of the same year she, along with her eldest child, began the Force family homeschool journey. We named our school Escondido Branches and our school scripture is “I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing” John 15:5
Currently, she is homeschooling all three of her children. The Force family is also involved in FEAST sports. Force daughters are FEAST volleyball players, their son is in FEAST track & field and her husband of 13 years and she are also volunteer coaches.
She is excited to begin her teaching endeavors at FEAST. Physics has always been a “fun” subject for her and she can’t wait to share her enthusiasm with the FEAST students who are ready for the challenge of Honors Physics.
By degree, Mrs. Schroeder is a former Licensed Physical Therapist: by practice, however, she is a homeschool teacher. She has taught co-op classes for over 10 years and enjoys teaching high school level science classes and pointing out God’s abundant handiwork through the sciences.
Carol has been married to her high school/college sweetheart Dale for 33 wonderful years. After leaving her career as a physical therapist, Carol delights in instructing children and watching them learn and grow in God’s truths. While continually seeking to impact children’s lives for Christ, she and her family are very involved in their church. They attend Mission Church where they both actively serve in various capacities.
Chris has been in the Greater San Antonio area for over 30 years, and he is active in his local church (Living Waters Fellowship). He and his wife homeschooled their 2 children (David and Abigail), and some of Chris’s greatest tennis memories – were during the years he was training and traveling to tournaments with them. He is a Certified Teaching Professional who has founded a program call My Tennis Metrics and written an easy to use tennis training booklet for beginners, called “Welcome to Tennis”, which takes someone from “Total Beginner to Tennis Player” in just 30 Easy Steps. The easy to use format and proven progressions presented in that booklet will be utilized in our “Add Tennis to Your Life” class. These progressions can help you and your children to rapidly learn the basics of tennis. Over the past 30+ years, Chris has had the privilege of introducing 100’s of juniors and adults to this lifetime sport at tennis camps, private clubs, city & school courts, and colleges. He enjoys working with students of all levels, but he is really looking forward to helping many homeschoolers in the Greater San Antonio area to begin playing the game his family has so greatly enjoyed…for 70 years!
I worked in the public school system for 13 years and with my daughter transitioned into Home Schooling. During our home school journey, I have had the privilege of teaching in various Home School Co-Ops where I have taught Science, Art, Spanish, Writing, History and even P.E. I truly enjoy teaching and have learned so much from teaching the different grade levels. For the last three years, I have been teaching HS Spanish 1 and 2, and Honors HS Spanish 1. It is my prayer that students take the class not only to meet a requirement but that they learn in order to use their skills and abilities to communicate with others and to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
