Thank you for considering placement of your
student(s) in the FEAST Co-op.

The FEAST Co-op program is a great way to get your child involved with other home school children as they participate together in academics and electives.

OUR PURPOSE
The primary purpose for the FEAST Teaching Co-op is to provide additional options for parents as they continue to seek the Lord for His provision for their children's education. It is also to give an opportunity for members of the Body of Christ to make their gifts and talents available to others. It is not the purpose of FEAST to undermine the authority or confidence of parents in any way. Neither can it be a replacement for parent involvement. An added bonus is the opportunity to encourage one another through Christian fellowship.

OUR SCHEDULE
Classes are in session for the Fall semester, September - December and for the Spring Semester, January - May. The classes meet once a week on Thursdays and the student (s) will be given assignments to perform at home under parental supervision. Registration and orientation is Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 1:00 PM. for Spring Classes. Classes will begin on Thursday, January 10, 2008. If you are already taking classes, you do not need to register again. Please notify the office if you wish to change any classes.

OUR TEACHERS
We thank the Lord for every one of our teachers. Without their talents and skills our co-op would not have flourished as much as it has in the last 5 years. They are all approved by the FEAST Co-op office with a minimum of two references. Their teaching materials have also been approved and all classes are taught from a Biblical, Christian worldview. Our teachers are self-employed, independent contractors.

OUR FEES
Annual registration fees are $50 per child or $90 for the family.
Registration, first tuition, and class supply fees are all due when you register (no exceptions). Registration is in August for Fall Classes & in January for Spring Classes. Individual class fees range from $20 - $50 a month and are set by each teacher. Supply fees may be required and are also set by the teachers. Tuition and supply fee checks must be made payable to the teacher and delivered to the Co-op Office. A $10 fee will be charged for late payment. Registration fees must be made payable to FEAST. Tuition is due the first class day of the month. All paid fees are non-refundable.

OUR GUIDELINES
The FEAST Co-op is not a typical school situation. The parent is completely responsible for their child/children even while they are at co-op. This being said we have instituted rules and guidelines which are given out in our  co-op orientation. All parents and students must attend this orientation when registering for the FEAST Co-op. You can view and print out a copy of our handbook by clicking Co-op Guidelines. Teacher Guidelines are available here.

If you have any questions please email co-op@homeschoolfeast.com or call (210) 342-4674 ext.12
